- An official twitter and website have went online to announce that Kenja no Mago, a light novel series by Tsuyoshi Yoshioka (story) and Seiji Kikuji (art) will be getting an anime adaptation for Sping 2019.
- The series is a standard isekai setup where our main character is killed in reality and is reborn as a baby in another world. There, he is taken in by a powerful wizard and is taught the ways of magic. There is one issue though, he lacks common sense!
- The series has been released since July 2015 and an official announcement that an anime was coming was made in September 2017. However, nothing has been announced till now. The main character Shin Walford will be voiced by Yuusuke Kobayashi (Subaru from Re:Zero) while Masafumi Tamura is directing the anime at Silver Link. Tatsuya Takahashi is in charge of series composition while Yuuki Sawairi is in charge of character design.
